Youth Group at Walmart to Help Family in Need

Last Night, December 3rd, 2017, the HTBC youth group took a trip to Walmart during their normal scheduled meeting time at 6:30 to help out a friend of one of our congregants whose family is in need. Led by some of our adult leaders, these Hamilton County middle school and high school students used some of their (or their parents, in most cases) own money to help those in the community who find themselves tragically in need this time of year.

Lifelong Hope Church Goer wants to Become a Member

It is always such a blessing to see our youth group up at Hope and eventually grow up to make their own decisions and Eli Richter, who now attends IUPUI, has expressed interest in joining Hope Church officially. Eli, we are all so proud of you and the rest of our young adults and youth!

Perez’s Coming to Town!

The Perez’s back in town on the 16th? Say it ain’t Soak! (This happens to be the day of our next Soak event…) But I do not think that a day long reading of the Gospel of Matthew is the only reason why Carlos and Sandi Perez would travel from Chicago with their three kids! Apparently, their son Josiah has already claimed the moose costume for the Children’s Play! So don’t miss our Chicago family when they are here on the weekend of the 16th and 17th!

 First Round of Protege Interviews

On Thursday, December 7th, Pastor Chet and Josh will be heading up to Marion, Indiana where they will be conducting the first of several rounds of interviews for the Protege Development Cohort (a two-year residency and summer internship program for young leaders).
